The Idea: To recreate the classic Milwaukee Brewers logo into vinyl.
The Research: After viewing several different websites, the best combo for three colors was blue, yellow, and white.
Illustrator: I found the logo I wanted to use, put it in Photoshop, changed the design to three different colors then separated them.
Vinyl Cutter: I selected the part I wanted for each color and printed them individually.
Assembling the design: Using the proper materials, I was put together the different layers to create the Brewers logo.

The "Recipe"
To create your vinyl you must first pick out a design. The design should be somewhat simple and consist of at least three colors. Once you have a design picked out put it into Illustrator and separate the design into three or however many parts you want (one for each color). Then in Illustrator down by the vinyl cutter select the first part you want and load the cutter with the color you want. Put it into the Cutting-master software and follow all the steps to cut them out. Do this for all of the parts. Then use the proper materials to move the vinyl to the desired surface and put them all together to get your final design.

Summary
To me, the vinyl cutter is the least exciting machine we used in our three rotations. It is cool but does not have the capabilities or excitement like the others. I learned to be very careful when applying the vinyl to a surface or else it could end up disastrous and you'll have to redo it. Overall though, the three rotations always kept us busy and showed just how many capabilities these machines have!
